New Chapter Scholarship

The Phi Kappa Psi Scholarship Committee is proud to introduce a new annual scholarship program designed to promote academic excellence and campus involvement within the chapter. This program recognizes brothers who exemplify the Fraternity’s values through strong academic performance and meaningful engagement in extracurricular activities. This scholarship will be worth $500.

The Eligibility Requirements Are:

  • To be a brother in good standing with the chapter
  • Hold a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Demonstrate involvement in activities on campus

First Recipient: Jake Ward ’26

Why he was Selected:

  • His GPA is 3.75 
  • He was a Student Orientation Guide for incoming freshmen
  • He was on the planning committee for Welcome Week events (great for recruiting new members!) 
  • His participation in Dawgs Serving Dawgs (a student organization supporting local animal shelters, where he serves as the Head of Finance)
  • His involvement in Campus Housing Services (serving as the first point of contact for residents and guests across multiple campus residence halls)
  • He was his Pledge Class President, leading the new member class and serving as the liaison between the new member and active brothers
