The ’23-’24 academic year is rapidly coming to an end for Indiana Zeta, and it has given the chapter time to reflect on some of the major accomplishments it has achieved throughout the year. Every part from formal recruitment, to philanthropy, and our brotherhood events in between has made us all proud to be Phi Psi’s at Butler University.
Indiana Zeta had its most successful recruitment year since coming back on campus, recruiting eleven new members, seven of whom were from formal recruitment. At the start of March, we initiated our biggest new member class, and hit badge number 900! This success is largely due to our Chapter Advisor Ray Volpe and current Recruitment Chairman Anthony Bates. Their diligent planning and hard work have allowed Indiana Zeta to welcome many quality young men into the brotherhood.
Like with recruitment, philanthropy was highly successful as the chapter raised over $1,000 for the SON Foundation, with our Dunk a Brother event being the most entertaining!
With each day, the bond between the members grows stronger and stronger. Whether it is studying for exams, participating in events on campus, or going on our annual trip to Victory Field to watch an Indians game, the feeling of brotherhood is present in all aspects of our lives. As the semester ends, we will be saying goodbye to our two graduating seniors, Anthony Bates and Hayden Quinn.
It is safe to say that Phi Psi has finally found its footing again at Butler, promoting a strong brotherhood, service to others, and helping shape leaders on campus.
